    Author and designer at Novas Idéias publishing
    December 2007 – Present
    Novas Idéias published my book "Videogame Arte", that debates about the topic of videogames as art, game development and the characteristics that constitute them as an art form. I worked for them not only as author, but also as a designer, and the graphic project and execution of the book, and all marketting supporting medias were done by me.

    Designer at Dinâmica Design & Comunicação
    November 2007 – Present
    Production of web-sites, flash sites and animation, advergames and social media support. Design of letterhead, logos, packaging, signage and editorial projects.

    Designer at Rede RPG
    February 2004 – Present
    Rede RPG (www.rederpg.com.br) is the biggest RPG web-portal in Brazil. Currently I'm creating special maps and graphics to illustrate E-books as well as editoring them. In the past I have contributed with original material, scooping of news and translation of articles to portuguese.

    2004 – February 2008
    Outsourcing to assist in-house designers on creation of scenic materials. Common pieces included letterheads, packaging, logos and signage. Illustration and photo manipulation often needed. Creation of logos and concepts for audience and talk shows.

    Alpha tester for Guild Wars: Nightfall. Testing maps, professions, and skill balances, providing feedback on closed forums.

    Researching the soon to be launched Guild Wars: factions providing information on gameplay, game strategy and reviews of missions, quests and builds for the compiling of the Guild Wars: Factions Prima Strategy Guide.

    About my book

    Videogame Arte debates about the topic of video games as art, game development and the characteristics that constitute them as an art form. It touches on subjects such as the future of games and their relations to culture and society and ultimately objectives to institutionalize the game development as an art form. It was published by Novas Idéias and sponsored by the technology company AMD in 2007. Besides being the author, the entire graphical and production project where under my care as a Designer for Novas Idéias. Reception of the book has been extremely positive. Jornal do Brasil and O Globo, two of the most important newspapers of the country had these remarks about it: “this book will serve as base for the institutionalization of the many stages of artistic production that guide the development of a game.” and an “indispensable reading for the electronic game world aficionado and a good introduction for those that wish to create their own game in the future.”
